You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? We're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

    • Dumb -Charades

Speaking the language of the silence was the air around. Playing Dumb – Charades can be a lot of fun if you have around 100 people competing to get across rounds and move on to the finals. Well I was thrown off by surprise when they said the words to be given in the game will not be from films but which will be related to quality and software industry. Taken aback from the last minute suprise by the rules and regulation of the game, our team came went together for the practice session.

Wow we did definitely came up with lots of words. Sample of them
First one was of course Quality
      Design
      Process
      Engineering
      Re- engineering
      Outsourcing
      Client
      Onsite
      Offshore
      Diagram
      Model
      Mitigation
      Resource
      Planning
      Waterfall model
      Iterative

Well we obviously came up with a lot of words and actually decoded all of them to a single gesture so that we could finish the game in a matter of seconds

Time came in for the show and my team mate went to select the paper and Start , the round began and we took 55 seconds to crack what he was actually trying to coming up. The word was “ Sequence Diagram “ . he was practically confused with what to come up for sequence,. We were throwing words like flow, queue, line but we couldn’t get the word Sequence ,he gestured dance and tried to rhyme with quence and we finally cracked the fist part of the first word as c and just 5 seconds to spare we did it . of course diagram was guessed in an instant

Come round 2 this time we were the kings. Just 10 seconds . SERVER CRASH. But guess what we weren’t selected for the final round.

      It Happens

She was sitting next to me. I have been trying to say this to her for the past 1 year but I was not able to do so... Call it shy or fear, there are no words to write whatever I have felt for that... I decided this night I am going to open my mouth and gonna say those three words I Love you... Every second I reckon myself “ok buddy let this be ur golden moment, say it”... Seconds passed by … minutes passed by... Hours went together …. She was still sitting next to me dreaming... I felt like I am sitting in a crocodile mouth... I urged myself to say it … I almost opened my mouth, and then I didn’t … I fell silent… finally I decided its after all a girl who I knew for months and why should I struggle to say those words and that too which is going to be a happy moment after that .. So I though no more opinions or thoughts... I called her. Looked in her eyes and at last I made it ……

My father was watching the idiot box and was enjoying the drama and I stood back pressing my fathers shoulder unable to put my thoughts and emotions in words. I was afraid what he is going to say if I let it open tonight… But anyhow I have to tell it to him one night.. I said to myself ok now you have to say it. I opened my mouth to say it and then I asked do u need water? My father said no and started watching the serial again; he changed channels while I was standing beside him unable to open my mouth, though amidst a chill whether outside and fan revolving in top speed, I was able to feel the sweat fall through my body… I could feel my heart beating faster and there was this song “ Kicku Erudhu song “ playing in SCV and I thought I am going to use the same technique what I did 2 years before to her. No thought no opinions no delay… just let it go... And at last I made it

Two instances in my life till date where I found it really to hard to say what I was feeling and that too 2 persons whom I know so much and very close… It happens

      V Day

As everyone knows tomorrow is Valentine's Day, but do you kmow the story behind the day why it is being celebrated. Heres the snippet behind the day

In the third century, the Roman Empire was ruled by Emperor Claudius II Gothicus. He was nicknamed Claudius the Cruel because of his harsh leadership and his tendency for getting into wars and abusing his people. In fact, he was getting into so many wars during the third century that he was having a difficult time recruiting enough soldiers.

Claudius believed that recruitment for the army was down because Roman men did not want to leave their loves or families behind, so he canceled all marriages and engagements in Rome. Thousands of couples saw their hopes of matrimony dashed by the single act of a tyrant. And no one seemed interested in standing up to the emperor.

But a simple Christian priest named Valentine did come forward and stood up for love. He began to secretly marry soldiers before they went off to war, despite the emperor’s orders. In 269 AD Emperor Claudius found out about the secret ceremonies. He had Valentine thrown into prison and deemed that he would be put to death.

As Valentine was awaiting execution, he fell in love with a blind girl, who happened to be the jailers daughter. On the eve of his execution, with no writing instruments available, Valentine is said to have written her a sonnet in ink that he squeezed from violets. Legend has it that his words made the blind woman see again. It was a brief romance because the next day Valentine was clubbed to death by Roman executioners.

St. Valentine gave his life so that young couples could be bonded together in holy matrimony. They may have killed the man, but not his spirit. Even centuries after his death, the story of Valentine’s self-sacrificing commitment to love was legendary in Rome. Eventually he was granted Sainthood and the Catholic Church decided to create a feast in his honor. They picked February 14 as the day of celebration because of the ancient belief that birds (particularly lovebirds, but also owls and doves) began to mate on that very day.

It’s surprising to know that Valentine’s Day is really founded on the concept of love in marriage. On This Valentine’s Day, what are you doing to keep the love in your marriage burning? While giving a gift and card, having a candlelight dinner, and sharing special words of love are all important, the true spirit of Valentine’s Day needs to last throughout the year.

      Ray - Ban

I am bored a lot and I really don’t know what to do and nor I am in the mood to write anything, so I just started off this blabber…Wearing a glass can be as cool as enjoying a sun bath in Miami. You ride as if Schumaker has taken rebirth inside you. You get to the top of the world and your speedometer couldn’t exceed one revolution, zoom you go in between tyres, people scream at you and it pours in you as blessings. It seems every eyes on the road is on you (but the reality is no one cares), mount road becomes a F1 Track and fellow riders become your competitors.

Your bike becomes a hardly Davidson, metallic jazzes reverberate inside you and thoughts action sense all focused on the single point ‘speed and style’. Facing the sun is a kid’s game now, you look at it as if you have out performed it and the way you look, positive energy flows around you, suddenly matrix level sequences happens around you, you are the only one in motion now everything stands still. Scene 2 Neo gets in…

You are transformed to the virtual world, the traffic police trying to catch up with you become the virus agent, the stage set for battle, but unfortunately there is no Morpheus or Trinity to accompany you. One on One…

You take the glass out of your eyes, wow you are in reality, smoke girls noise hospitals traffic signals red green yellow huge advertisements board .. well its our city Chennai and its mount road signal .. 3…2..1 .. Green signal, the glass sets in .. Bond .. James Bond enter… Scene 3 continues…

Well all this build up is for a glass which I bought yesterday and I love it.

      Hair - Elan

Long time I have thought over this. One thing which attracts me to the opposite sex is their hairstyle. I don’t know why, their coiffure attract me like anything else. Anytime anywhere anyplace, if I see a women walking towards me, my head always spins around to see once she crosses me, to look at what she has done with her hair for the day. My analyst inside me starts to explore, the pristine state of my mind gets corrupted.

Free hair gets the top priority in my case. Very rarely I see girls with properly tied up hair. I knew it is not that much of an easy task to get your hair tied up properly and I would always think that a girl with a properly tied up hair gives a lot of attention to her beauty and also she is much disciplined. See what all a hair style would and could speak to others (for at least to me) … It takes a Himalayan amount to time to tie up your hair if you have one with waist high. crosses me, to look at what she has done with her hair for the day. My analyst inside me starts to explore, the pristine state of my mind gets corrupted.

Managing a very little amount of hair for me is itself a tough job; I don’t know how girls take time to tie up theirs.
A very stylish at the same time very easier to handle is the type of short free falling hair, but then from what I heard from people even in there are so many things to be looked at, there are these step cutting , finger cutting hair styles. I always love to watch free falling hair and that too over a girl forehead, I literally flattered.

Well, there are some unusual hair styles I come across when I always visit places like coffee day or sathyam theatre where I end up seeing so many girls, GOD only knows from where these girls turn up. I see weird hair styles, hooked up, bottom curved, F1 race track hair falls, mind-blowing, having seen all that I wanted to get inside a women’s beauty parlor to see what kind of activity takes place before the beautician places her scissors on one’s head. I am pretty sure there must be a lot of animated hairstyles thrown before you and it’s also tougher to get the thing you like (and also whether others will like it) .

The apparels has got a long to speak. For example a t-shirt and jeans won’t get matched with a girl with long and properly tied up. The two just don’t match each other. The best one which goes along with a t-shirt and jeans is free falling hair. The one made for long tied-up hair is half – sari. They are made for each other. Short tied-up hair would match with a salwar – kameez, bob cut, they too get along with short shirts but I always don’t like bob cuts, I always want girls to have long hair.

The pulchritude or the physical beauty as people say, depends on so many things, but for me I vote for the hair and the way it is woven.
