You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? We're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

This movie is on the lines of Pursuit of Happyness, encouraging, inspiring… Anthony Hopkins wouldn’t do much better than this. People with flair of motorcycles definitely can watch this one, that doesn’t stop others from watching it. It’s all about a dream of an old man to set a record in the salts lake with his 1920 made motorcycle.

Based on a real life story, this film takes you on a ride of Burt Munro whose 25 year ambition is to set a record a speed record. One thing which I don’t understand is that wherever Burt Munro goes, he always meet people who are always ready to help him, is it because of his good will nature or coincidence I don’t know, coz through his journey from new Zealand to the salts lake he is faced with numerous challenge and he always gets a helping hand from somebody or other, is it his innocence that everybody opt to help him or was it a mere coincidence, be it the next door kid till the official in the salt lakes who bend the rules for this old man to achieve his life long aim. Later then he moves onto set a 9 year track record which still is considered to be one of the best track record set for motorcycles under 1000cc category,

Well the above is reality, welcome to the unreal world. Ocean’s thirteen, it got style. Theft always fascinated me. Either is it an audio cassette flick from the local music shop or a million dollar swipe from an international bank. The Latter does need lots of brain to do than to earn the million dollars. George Clooney, Bradd pitt, Matt damon and last and not the least the God Father of all times, Al Pacino. Just to watch all these stars on the same screen you can watch this movie. Sad Julia Roberts didn’t share the silver screen. It’s the same revenge story again. Casinos attracted me a long time ago, one thing which I never understand is the card game they play, whatever they call it again, one day I will learn it. Why don’t they play the well known ace or the rummy which I know? I would be happy if oceans 14 come up too. I know Brazilian Job is on its way following the Italian job; they are on one of a kind, its always fun to watch movies of these kinds, relaxed and stress free,

After a long time I really laughed my lungs out watching a movie and it is going to Planes, Trains and Automobiles, well Anbe Sivam is loosely based on this movie where 2 people meet and try reaching their home. It’s all about a person who is trying to reach home in Chicago for Thanksgiving and how he gets stuck with Del and what happens for the rest of their journey. I can give it in writing this is one film worth spending time. It’s a pity that I watched this movie only now. When I think about the movie right now it still puts a smile on my face. I laughed out so loud that I woke people sleeping at home. The time was 2 past night and I woke up my parents laughing out loud. LOL.

Coming to Anbe Sivam, it’s not the communism in the movie that has been inspired from Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The conceptualization of 2 persons meeting up and their journey is what that is inspired from this movie.

This is about SIVI. Well got to admit it, the songs are wonderful. No doubt about it. When I heard from my friend that he read the review of SIVI and the reviews marked Dharan, the music director as a successor to Rahman, I couldn’t believe that they would have said something like that. Curiosity made me to listen to the songs right away but I had to wait for 2 days to get hold of the songs. Well now I say the songs are really are wonderful. But I wont agree that a successor of Rahman has arrived, but still I bet on Sivi rather on Bheema, some how the Harris Music is a let down in Bheema. PKMC was excellent; Bheema won’t stand any way near to PKMC. But still have to wait and see how the picturisation of Bheema is going to be, sometime after watching the songs visually, they add value to the song and make you like it and at the same time some beautiful song with worst visuals on screen can make you forget about the song. Lets see how SIVI and BHEEMA and turns up.
