You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? We're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

    • to be an Indian

      I am proud of

(The below are some extracts from web portals…)

A BusinessWeek analysis of Standard & Poor's (MHP ) Compustat data on 346 top listed companies in both nations ( china and India) shows Indian corporations have achieved higher returns on equity and invested capital in the past five years in industries from autos to food products. The average Indian company posted a 16.7 per cent return on capital in 2004, vs. 12.8 per cent in China.

Trading at the National Stock Exchange is third largest in the world

Cisco's scheinman is quoted as saying, "We came to India for the costs, we stayed for the quality, and we're now investing for the innovation."

"Barring cataclysm, within three decades India should have vaulted over Germany as the world's third-biggest economy," says the weekly.

"By mid-century, China should have overtaken the US as No. 1. By then, China and India could account for half of global output," it says adding the two Asian countries possess the weight and dynamism to transform the 21st-century global economy.

      The things I am not

A lot of critics have been raised about Mumbai infrastructure when the rain gods showered more love on the city, but what about Chennai ? will Chennai survive such a thing in the future( thought the probability of raining here is almost close to zero).

Just a few cm’s rain is enough to flood our streets with water and the drainage blocks in several parts of the city …
Even when the rains hit the commercial capital of India, sensex zoomed..

If only the amount which is used to take care of the damages, have been spent earlier on the infrastructure, loss can be minimized.
But we never learn until our hand gets beaten up.

I came across a poll on a website which said how do u celebrate independence day ?
67% of the people who voted said they watch independence special shows on the idiot box – shockin news

Call centres in news again … stealing informations

Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) has alleged that employees of a Gurgaon-based call centre are illegally selling personal information of thousands of Australians for as little as 10 Australian dollars (Rs 335) per person

      Bombshells

The new study by US psychologists found that people shown erotic or gory images frequently fail to process images they see immediately afterwards. And the researchers say some personality types appear to be affected more than others by the phenomenon, known as "emotion-induced blindness".

Good morning Blogger, I find it quite refreshing to occasionally find a post such as yours with a similar topic to my own interests. It somehow ads to ones little list of lifes experiences.

I seem to have a soft spot for blogs related to and /or sites that have a central theme around type items. I guess this comes from being a webmaster as well.

Once again Blogger, thank you, hope you don't mind if I visit again next month. :-)
