A trademark tamil village subject masala movie. It had all ingredients aptly mixed to make it a family entertainer. Ravi would be thanking prabhudeva from whom this movie made into tamil silver screens. I haven’t seen the telugu version of this movie, in a nut shell something something will be a hit.
Jeyam’s Ravi home production has hit the bull’s eye after jeyam and M Kumaran. Ravi a NRI falls in love with trisha, a village girl, and whose brother Prabhu stands against their love, challenges Ravi in a agri battle field, of course everybody knows what the end. Not a great story line but it had every qualities in it to attract the family crowd
Please don’t expect any logic from the film, u are hitting the wrong calling bell then, this is not a film that ends like “A Film by Mani Ratnam”, its come under this category where they say “No Logic Only Magic”.
I don’t know why but I didn’t like Trisha in the movie, she was looking good, that’s fine, but somehow I didn’t find her character that of a village girl competent in this particular movie. She has done her part well, though I didn’t like her however Ravi’s role was apt, the only thing is that if he could have been able to grow his hair like what Siddharth made it in the telugu version it would have been more apt. Not all songs were good in the movie. The title song was good and kozhi kozhi was also good. Bhagiyaraj and Prabhu both have done their part neatly.
The Bubbling first half made by Ravi and after he enters into the village and he bullying around trisha made the first half quite amusing and interesting. This film is definitely not a much film to be watched, but it is a good time pass.
Negatives… a bbbbbbbbit less sentiments here and there and not many nail biting and seat edges sequences, kind of a homely film and don’t expect that the film will leave any impacts on u once u leave the theatres.
