Another message giving film… though it had a neat script, the screenplay made it look like yet another movie of this genre. We have seen enough of this in films like Ramana, Indian etc: - the message -- politicians should be qualified for the post which they hold. The second half of the film was good; while the first half navigated from the main theme and if made the film kind of dragged a bit. The director’s effort to make the Tamil folk or the natupura songs not to go extinct should be appreciated but then they didn’t go in sync with the film. The film started with the election poll day and it looked like a documentary opening and it gets you the feel what this movie is going to be. Raguvaran and Vishal both were impressive and it was nice to watch Raguvaran on screen after a long time. The climax had some neat punching dialogues, the whole length of the film was very short and after the first 45 minutes, the films get a break. The female lead comes in and goes out for the songs. 2 songs had great melody. Whatever be it, Vishal has got another feather to his cap. “Kanja Karupu” adds humour to the film and Mamta is the female lead for the film.
These days I see too many films with folk songs on like Sivapathigaram, veyil and Paruthuveeran.

You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? We're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. |
